Brooke Segarra is a fiction writer and creative doula living in Brooklyn, NY. Her stories have appeared in Hobart Pulp, Maudlin House, SARKA, Rejection Letters, Farewell Transmission, the first issue of the Rose Books Reader, Grimoire Magazine, Wyldcraft Magazine, and elsewhere. In addition to writing, her passion is helping other writers navigate the emotional labor of writing so they can tell the stories they burn to tell. Currently, she is a creative writing mentor at Girls Write Now and a creative writing coach at Write By Night. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and is currently working on a novel.
